This should be s textbook example of how when there is a Democratic president (especially an African American one), they scream about deficits and threaten to shut down the government. Now, McConnell can casually say there is ZERO chance it won't be raised and nobody says a word. It's just like how with a straight face she said Democrats better not "obstruct" anything. OMFG!!!!!!!!! Tjis makes me crazy!

After it is done there may be talk of Republican hypocrisy under Obama, I don't know.

(16,875 posts)Remember when the GOP stonewalled on raising the debt ceiling to the point that our credit rating was downgraded and the Obama administration was actually researching ways to raise the debt ceiling using constitutional grounds? Their motivation was solely about harming Obama, and I think that has become crystal clear.
