Today, the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society and MorseLife both announced a change of venue for their annual Palm Beach fundraisers, from the Mar-a-Lago Club to well, not the Mar-a-Lago Club. That brings to 19 the number of charities that have decided to leave Mar-a-Lago in recent months, many in the past week.
The defections leave only the Palm Beach Police Foundations Policemans Ball and the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Vets Spirit of America holiday gala as remaining at the presidential retreat.
Heres a list of 19 charities leaving Mar-a-Lago

(63,221 posts)Now I just want to hear how nobody is golfing at his clubs or staying at his hotels.
The only way to really hurt this bastard is by hitting him where it counts. Destroy his brand and dry up his source of income.

Southern California has some very nice golf courses. And the added advantage of being a bright blue state!

(60,010 posts)He has a contract to be paid for the use of his name, gets paid a certain amount for that.
He has, in the same breath, said he owned the various motels, and then denied ownership when the lawsuits came up.
Technically, does not own.
So, now, people are starting to boycott his venues, and means the real owners ( money launderers) get less, as does he.

(60,010 posts)I agree with you...his brand is plummeting, and that is essentially all he has.
And to think he sold it for letting others wash money via his projects.
for which HE will be charged.

The cops of course will never cancel.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue event was the first to cancel btw.
Plenty of places here to do this -- am betting Morikami and the Breakers will be making bank.
