With the exception of a comparatively small number of ignorant, deranged white nationalists, it occurs to me that Trump Don-John has, by default, done more to unite the country than any U.S. president in, perhaps, decades.

After Brexit, it appeared that things were shifting right in Europe. But recent elections have rejected anti-immigrant candidates. We are such laughingstocks that nobody wants to go that route.
