As funny and Talented as Tina Fey is, I'm glad Bostonians didn't take her advice.

I think the show of numbers on our side is very important.

I know it was a comedy bit. She did get out lots of great information about the right wing on a national stage in those 6 minutes.

I just didn't like her "stay home" message.

I do hope she keeps doing SNL.

Better to come out and make a stand with others instead of watching on TV & getting fat
I do however understand some folks are home bound and can not protest in person and plenty of people must go to work when these things occur

and got her real opinion, she'd probably tell you that if you feel comfortable demonstrating in the streets and expressing yourself publicly, go do it!

SNL Weekend Update is a COMEDY show. She can't simply appear on air and go on a political diatribe. She has to add a humorous twist. In this case, it was to lay low and over-indulge in cake. It was for comedic effect.

I certainly wouldn't expect the left to become hermits across the board because of a three-minute bit by Tina Fey.

But the advice to stay home... sorry, but we live here.
