I am strongly in favor of using poisoned gas against uncivilized tribes - it would spread a lively terror."

As elitist and vehemently racist as he was, Churchill at least saw Hitler for what he was at a time most of the ruling classes in Europe and U.S. were actively courting him.

Trump would definitely have been among said butt kissers.

but I've seen Trump's photo described as, "What if Frankenstein's monster went to the DMV and didn't understand what was happening?" which is just perfect.

He's even said to have acknowledged this himself:

A proud mother remarked that her baby looked exactly like Winston Churchill. Hearing her say this, Churchill replied, "Madam, all babies look like me."

So, Trump wants to look like a baby, as well as act like one.

Churchill's mouth in Ottawa during WWII. Churchill had multiple reasons to be pissed off. Trump is no Churchill.

as Churchill. On Churchill, that look gave him an air of gravitas. On Trump, it just makes him look like a constipated jackass.

the photographer, Yousuf Karsh, was trying to get the perfect shot...and Churchill was smoking a cigar. Karsh went up to him and said "excuse me, please, Mr Churchill" and snatched the cigar right out of his hand and then took that photo.
