This line was the subject of a long debate I had on FB with a friend who is a far right libertarian. She repeated the BS that there were peaceful people protesting the statue being torn down on that side. I said prove it, give examples, she couldn't. It was painfully obvious to me that she and Trump got their info from the same types or maybe the same exact source. Trump is getting his info from Alt Right sources.

The event was organized as a White Power event. There were no historical preservation societies there that didn't know it was a White Power event, period.
