Hussein? I guarantee the people sooooo upset about removing Confederate statues in the US were on their feet cheering when Saddam's statue came down. Wasn't that the perfect thing to leave in place so the people of Iraq would always remember their "history"?????? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

William Pitt's statue came down for a while because of his resistance to Colonial Independence. It eventually went back up.

National Review mentioned that a statue of Lenin is on public land in Seattle. It is actually a subject of comedy and derision. It was a funny analogy to make. It is not placed in a position of prominence.
