(5,481 posts)And we were wondering why he never has press conferences? This is why - he cannot restrain himself, and almost always decides that since he has already dug himself a hole, he may as well stand in it and dig deeper and deeper.
It's a dogwhistle to the types of people that attended their little nazi/kkk rally this past weekend. They are ecstatic that he is standing up for them...but a large group of them want someone even further off the edge, someone that "won't give his daughter away to a Jew".
But, in the meantime, they'll take what they can get.

(82,849 posts)At last, now President Trump has gone rogue, assumed the mantle of Gov. Palin and by golly, we're going to see some real freedom in this country now, boy! Can't you just see Paul Revere riding down Pennsylvania Avenue, ringin' those liberty bells and bringing candy to all the good little boys and girls of Boston?
Makes as much sense as anything President Trump said today.

(29,322 posts)I doubt his staff even wanted him to answer to questions but he couldn't help himself. He kept asking "ask me a manufacturing question".
