With an attitude like his, he's a huge liability for the city or town he works for. You just know he's going to be on the receiving end of a very expensive law suit before too long. He should be fired.

You ever been hit by a car?

I have. While legally riding a bike on the neighborhood streets where I grew up.

Let me tell you something: it hurts. It's not funny.

I was lucky. Car backed out in front of me, I slammed on the brakes, hit the driver's door, then flew over the hood, about twenty feet through the air, and busted my lip when I landed on the grass.

Took a few days for the soreness to go away.

I suggest you go play in traffic for a bit, and then come back and tell me how much you loved it.

Edit: *one of several dangerous bike/car experiences I've had, but trying not to hijack the thread.
