Why does the media continue to forget that Trump is the Birther King, who relies on racism?

It's almost as if there is some unwritten rule that the media can only cover that last few days of what Trump has said.

If it wasn't for Trump spending the last eight years trying to normalize racism to advance his ambitions and media exposure, Heather Heyer would be alive right now. Racism is nothing more than a product Trump is using to market himself,

But Birtherism is what he used to build his brand of racism, and the media gave him all the exposure he asked for, for free.
