I would enjoy reading your thoughts if you get to see the eclipse in totality

next week. Pictures too. Some of my family will be in Oregon, others in north Georgia and in Nashville. I will be in Nebraska, that is if I'm not stuck in traffic with the thousands of Coloradans who will be heading for Wyoming and Nebraska. I'm looking forward to a real adventure (depending on weather and traffic).

but, I do look forward to seeing the videos and photos that will undoubtedly be posted on the internet.

But, folks, don't believe those who are downplaying the need to use approved safety glasses and equipment. Seeing a couple of posts from some advocating just using polarized sunglasses has astounded and horrified me.

There will be countless threads on the eclipse. Most everyone who sees it, or even has a thought about it, will likely post their own thread about it.
