This probably has been discussed here many times but some pundits expressed it clearly, that Whiny Donny, with a paper thin skin, was offended during the foreign reporters dinner, when both Obama and Seth Meyer made fun of him and that this was when he decided to run for president.

And we discussed it and my spouse said: so they went and searched for the worst possible candidate and he won.

And I remembered how we all were actually wishing for him to be the candidate; how easy it would be to beat him

Joke on us.

And then my spouse said: just like The Producers. Go and search the worst possible musical that would tank after one night and it was a smashing success..

1. Why did you wish for him to continue seeding the country with racism sexism and violence just for

a boost to possibly win ?
Clinton could have beat another republican candidate without our country having to degrade to his being the nominee . Wanting him to spread and whip up his voters to become popular just so a dem candidate could look better and win didn't work out too well and now everyone is concerned because they are affected not just his usual targets like on the campaign trail
Too late to stop him now.
People should have protested him starting with his horrible announcement speech.
I am glad my city completely stopped him from having a campaign rally here in March 2016 while he was running for the republican nominee (Chicago). Nope, people here knew better than to want him to continue as the nominee and warned of what he stood for.
If more people had called him out and resisted his presence from the start of his hateful campaign instead of not protesting and instead meeting his deeds with hope of a sure win and a wink,maybe things would have been different . He may have not made it to nominee or POTUS if he was called out more on his hateful rhetoric instead of smirks from his announcement forward
