Which includes military doctors.

Chain of command, baby. Chain of command.

He could probably refuse a physical from a military doctor and insist on his own "doctor."

This guy.

There's no legal requirement that presidents get annual physicals at all. It's not like they're airline pilots, who do have to pass medical exams, but pilots have people's lives in their hands.

Oh, wait...

if the country survives this presidency, some strict guidelines need to be implemented for future presidents - including disclosing tax returns, nepotism and divestment laws, and the public's right to know basic things about their president, such as health status. All government officials are OUR employees.

Today, poll after poll demonstrates that the American people want to know about the health of their elected officials, and especially their president. And while private citizens are certainly entitled to privacy with respect to their health, matters become decidedly different when running for or holding the highest office in the land. Some medical experts have suggested that the president undergo an annual physical and mental health examination (including evaluations for depression and Alzheimer’s disease), which are made public upon completion in real time.

Most presidents get annual physicals but they don't have to.

shouldn't the generals who are tasked with carrying out his orders have a complete knowledge of the president's mental and physical fitness?

His mental health was not the question. The question specifically pointed at physical health.

I don't think it is my business to know my employees health. If they are golfing a couple of times a week in the Florida heat that's good enough for me. As an employer I don't ask my employees to hand over their physical health records.

determining fitness is part of that and it is laid out how and what has to happen. So someone thought the question of fitness to hold office can be determined. I believe in some cases a doctor would be required to weigh in. So your opinion doesn't matter. The constitution trumps your feelings.

For a President to release his physical medical records after being in office? I'm not aware of that requirement as is being discussed here.

at Bethesda? The press dutifully reported the results and various tribal groups tittered behind their fans and cans, critical of everything. Trump will never have a physical because he can't deal with ridicule. He would probably bomb US cities if a bunch of activists joked about his poundage and that big fat ass or his protruding paunch. If Viagra was listed on his prescription drugs, the world would mock his impotence and he can't look like a weakling if he's acting like a thug.
