(15,805 posts)They could have put up a display that honored the true heroes in fire and rescue crews, or anyone who works in a hospital. What about the scientists, engineers and math nerds, or the computer geeks who are inventing the brave new world of the future, aren't they heros? Artists, writers, poets and musicians, journalists, and philosophers inspire us to do heroic deeds.
No one needs a gun, especially not in a school.
