before the Alzheimers took all his memory away. Hell of a performer.. RIP. The "Rhinestone Cowboy" has hung up his spurs.

15. He once toured with The Beach Boys when Brian Wilson was sick.

I went to a Beach Boys' concert and they announced Wilson couldn't make it, and Glenn Campbell had replaced him. This was around 1964, long before he had any hits. It was another few years before he made the big time.
