It has nothing to do with abortion..

It'a all about control. Men want to be the ones who have the say yes or no to abortion. They could care less about pro life or the act of an abortion. I am a man and I know plenty of men who claimed to be pro-life but have demanded their women have abortions. Men. Right more than left but as you can see men on the left are guilty too. They simply want less decisions made by women. They're weak and feel like they are getting weaker as women and people of color rise. They're going through a personal soul death sorta...

and having countless "conversations" with his male friends (who were not necessarily raised as liberally) at various stages of life, I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Fear and insecurity drives the need for control. Not burning morality. Males who are comfortable and secure with their personal worth in society and as individuals don't have that deep fear.

I know he is raising his children to be secure, compassionate and open minded and therein lies hope! By genuine example not just words.

I am also well acquainted with my own peers who suffer from fear of females as well. Many of them are exactly the same cowardly types as permeate the halls of government. In my personal life, I have no time or space for that type of person. But the government variety are a different breed of dangerous.

The enablement of that mind set runs seriously deep.

even when they dont really want the child. it has to do w evolutionary psychology. the sum total of our drive, like any animal, is to deliver that packet of dna to the next generation. with the shift from sowing seeds widely to investing in a few offspring, male humans changed dramatically. it is their ultimate fear that they are rearing another man's child, or their mate cannot produce enough children to guarantee that packet.

and really, the women i know that have had abortions, most were due to the inability of the father to be a good father. even when there was no enmity in that assessment, that was the reason.

it strikes at their very core.
