They warn you constantly that things contain compounds known to the state of California to cause cancer, reproductive defects, birth defects...

The warning is displayed at the entrance to stores to advise you that the store sells stuff like that. Even stores selling organic produce.

Apparently everything in the state is known to kill you, including artisanal tofu and heirloom tomatos, so far as some state agency can tell
