Senate will be in "pro forma" session when they go on August recess.

Which means that Trump cannot make recess appointments.

Also, it shows that Republicans are taking this matter very seriously, as well as the Democrats.
Perhaps they have seen evidence we are not yet privy to?

Of course, the President can still fire people during a recess. Or move people laterally to other departments.

But, this is an indication that the honeymoon is over for Mr Trump.

the Dems are the ones forcing the pro forma session by threatening to filibuster a resolution to adjourn.

As this CNN article points out, both sides have been doing this since Bush the Lesser to prevent recess appointments.

In fact the House Judiciary Committee, I believe, is not interviewing anyone with their Russia Investigation and when a Dem congresswoman tried to get them to sign a bill like the Senate's to protect Mueller they wouldn't go for it and even made an amendment to it concerning the ongoing investigation of Hillary's emails again (it's hard to explain). The House GOP will never impeach him.

We must have a "special independent separate commission" and I have been saying this for 6 months and went to a protest March calling for one. ALL the Dems want one and have introduced bills in the House and Senate but the GOP won't sign it.
