What F-Up Could Trump Do To Wake Everyone Up Including Supporters?

Where is a bridge too far for Trump. Events and the direction of things in this country and Trump antics get more insane, absurd and ridiculous every day. If it is not Trump it is one of his appointees or spokespeople. We are hearing so many things now that before were completely unspeakable much less thought.

We are seeing tsunami of bad behavior, hateful speech, obnoxious policies, destruction of the body politic et al. And the GOP is no better because few will speak out and most seem to support. GOPHERS actually fully support this trash. What the fuck is wrong with Republicans. Do they have crap in their brains. How does any human being celebrate and enhance the misery of others?.

How can this bastard have any support? Even 5% support would be too much.

Of course hundreds of thousands of innocent people will die first but that's the main goal of the republican party nowadays so...

For their own destruction. When really it's the fault of the republicans. Because they're too stupid to see their own failures.

I read an interesting article this morning -- I forget the source, but it's probably been posted on DU already -- explaining how this shock and awe of overwhelming bullshit and lies is straight out of the Russian/Putin playbook. Repeat the absurd lies, no matter how absurd, because people will start to believe it. Just overwhelm the masses with so much crap, they don't know what to believe, what to think. It makes it easier to keep them in check.

Personally, I don't think Trump is that smart, but who knows. It makes as much sense as anything.

It's Bannon and Miller as well. Bannon has been planning this chaos for a while in case he ever got close enough to be able to influence policy. Google Bannon whiteboard. He has a ton of goals (a lot of them having to do with deporting immigrants).

But it's very very naughty.

Let me try it this way -

But how can we get Trump to tweet about it? Like - do we have to hack his tweet account?

Sorry - not sorry - not ever gonna make nice with Trump Voters.

Since he initially announced his candidacy.

Seriously, I have been nothing but disappointed in my fellow countrymen (and women, ESPECIALLY the women) since he joined the race.

He is still popular with his base because they have an image of a man they need to fill. Rump finds a scapegoat (Spicer, Priebus) lays the blame on them for any negativity whether true or false and then proceeds to make himself savior of the problem by firing them. I'm still seeing support for sleazy snake in our local opinion pages and they blame his advisors but not the Rump.

There are a lot of single issue voters in the Republican base. As long as they have two only voting options and they are split on the pet issue, they will vote their issue regardless of everything else.

As long as we support gun control and Republicans oppose it, the gun nuts will vote Republican
As long as we support abortion choice and Republicans oppose it, the anti-choice crowd will vote Republican

Same for the issues of drug policy, work visas, and religion

The only way to break their base apart is to pick a issue or two where it is less objectionable to bend and remove and issue or two from the table. My pick would be bending on gun control and work visas.
