they actively try to subvert the Constitution. Frankly, I think that is less likely if we have some high-ranking officers basically playing regent to the idiot-in-chief. Beats him getting marching orders from Putin, who does want to destroy America. As far as I know, this is basically an attempt to mitigate the effects of having a Russian asset as the chief executive.

decides to tolerate him.

I make no predictions as to how long he will last, but I will go out on a limb and predict continued turmoil in the Trump White House and his entire administration.

I saw earlier today that he's supposedly thinking of moving Rick Perry to Homeland Security -- at least I think that's what I saw. If Trump thinks that he can just move people around like that and have anything operate effectively, well, we already know he hasn't a clue how government works, and probably hasn't a clue about how successful businesses are actually run.

John Kelly Follows Orders. That’s Exactly What Trump Critics Are Afraid Of.
The former secretary of Homeland Security has defended and carried out some of the president’s most controversial policies.

So what is Lawrence implying? That the Generals are in cahoots, and are taking over formtheir own benefit? Or to protect us from the crazy?
The only one I trust in that whole crazy bunch is Mattis.
