Let's say only 40% of the VOTERS support his nightmarish agenda, what does that leave us with next year?

Well, voter suppression and obstruction and crosscheck amounts to about 3%, so now we are up to 43% support.

Russian on the ground KGB, uh I mean GRU agents working to flip votes or prevent more from voting, lets say another 3%, up to 46% now.

Then we have that agenda I am not allowed to talk about here, that in any given district or state the candidate on our side may not be .....enough.

Another possible 4% there.

So I would say we are at a virtual tie and this doesnt include the gerrymandering that means we lose no matter what in some places.

WORK to do folks!

why all these people haven't figured out that the guy's a lunatic crook liar. And it hit me....we are talking about the middle. They could be totally apolitical - I know people like that ! So, it's gonna take some time. There's evidence of the situation reaching critical mass - but it's a slow process. These apolitical types may only hear a political thing every month or two.

You are SO right. Since 2000 it is a burden we Democrats have to live with - make sure the poll gaps are so great - too great to cheat over.

That only 54% are embarrassed to have him as their president.

That should be 98% with a 2%+/- error margin

he's just a hair under Gerald Ford's approval rating 6 months in. I was a kid but I don't remember Ford being that terrible, just kind of goofy, and I have not revisited his Presidency. I guess people were mad about his pardoning Nixon but that was right at the beginning as far as I recall.

Not only was the pardoning of Nixon driving down his approval ratings, but he took a lot of the blame for the high inflation rate at the time. His solution was to issue WIN (Whip Inflation Now) buttons. That drove the electorate nuts.

I took that as a poorly worded way of saying 60% think he believes he's above the law. no way his approval is that low and 60% think he's actually above the law.

This will be an ugly breakup, too sad for Republicans.
