Serious question about North Korea...

Where is this little shit getting the parts and technology for his bombs and rockets?

Officially, Russia and China think he's nuts. Is he using a black market underground to get the stuff via Iran or some other place?

We should be pressuring China to enact real sanctions on NK, but they want to play both sides.

3. And a very good question...

as NKs nuke and missile capability seems to be growing exponentially recently. In about a year they have gone from hardly getting short range missiles off the ground to repeated successful launches with 10k+ km ranges... Such a turnaround in an isolated program is nearly unbelievable.

4. The way it's going, he will get the nukes. The US really can stop him without a war

and none want that. My feeling is he's got lots of underground suppliers. The end result will be deterrents.

Do you think we negotiated a draw at the 38th Parallel because of North Koreans?

It has ALWAYS been China!

7. South Korea's new President has gone from dove to hawk overnight

He was elected as a dove a month ago. He just ok'd tripling the THAAD deployment, and quite a few related military escalations, and no longer believes in just negotiating with North Korea. It all seems a so convenient for all.

11. ICBM is not nuke

Pakistan has no ICBM, more countries have nukes than have ICBM. If the NK missiles were largely similar to those of any other country's, we would be able to tell immediately. It is like the difference between a PC and an iPhone.

12. Yeah, but a non-nuke ICBM is pretty useless

compared to one with a nuke on top. The OP asked about "bombs" as well as missiles.

I wonder if NK will pass along its ICBM technology to Pakistan.
