Just checking--are we supposed to be giving Trump a chance?

Before the dust had settled on election night, we were told either that we must support the president, or at the very least "give him a chance."

Anyone who knows anything about Trump could reasonably call bullshit on these admonitions, and I can say honestly that after six months in office Trump has failed to surprise me in any positive way.


So must we still "give him a chance" at this point?
