This type of advertising will win us elections!

I already donated to one about Mitch Mcconnell. I'm going to give to this one too.

Too many people do not realize how much their reps affect them beyond the local level. They need to be informed of things like their reps who blocked job bills and tried to take away their health care.

It will, but only if it motivates the heretofor unmotivated 41% to actually vote. guillaumeb Jul 2017 #5

Too many people don't realize bashing the opposition does not promote a positive image for themselves.

A billboard about social security and madicare would be better. If a 50 year old whose been working for 25 years is informed his social security is going to be privatized and his medicare will be a voucher THAT would have an effect. "Those people" not getting medicaid won't matter.

Many people near retirement when the crash of 2008 happened had to work for a number of extra years to make up for the drop in the value of their 401k because of the stock market loss.

but it is unlikely. People who rely on social security for their retirement income live in poverty. People who have invested in 401k's and other plans often have millions in their accounts by the time they retire.

Ads that turn off voters lead to GOP wins. That is why they do it.

A lot of people think throwing people off Medicaid is a GOOD thing. This could practically be a Ryan campaign ad.

As much as I want an adequate safety net, I want representative democracy more.

But I don't think the majority of American voters are really that cruel.

...they need to ADD a billboard to mark their destructive intent to the poor and middle class.

Just absurd that the voting percentage is so pathetic in this country. Rile them up and motivate their apathetic asses to the polls in 2018.

I think it is effective. I have been contributing small amounts but I am probably going to be bankrupt in 18 months and have to use my 83 year old parents' savings to pay for my necessary surgeries before I die due to the ACA repeal. I wish I could chip in more. So many worthy groups need help while the GOP has money coming out of their ears. In a way I am glad I am going to die and don't have to deal with this shit anymore. It will be a relief. I called 17 senators today alone and will continue to resist my heart out any way I can while I have the ability. I hope people keep it up and don't stop fighting...RESIST! Peace.
