Baingate

Its got legs.

Its got documents.

Its got no easy explanation.

It will lead to increasing pressure for tax return releases.

Big money contributors will start to hold off.

Reporters will start to get traction on more details.

More and more related stories, more tax questions.

And then mysteriously Bush faction Republicans will start to murmur, more leaks from unusual sources.

The party will start to gnash teeth and tear garments.

And the Bush folks will be counting the days until the 2016 convention where Jeb can come in and save a broken party.

Obama will have 4 more years to get things back to normal and then Jeb Bush can run on a more moderate, more Hispanic friendly platform beating the "cut taxes" drum all the way to election day.

Baingate, the Romney debacle made to fit Jeb Bush.

We can enjoy this but must keep the eye on the ball -- they'll be dumping money into those races instead.

So they will be attempting to motivate with many millions.

That said, it does look smart to make Mitt so awful that the unmotivated demotivate further

He has over 1400 delegates who have no choice but to vote for him on the first ballot at the convention, and he just needs something north of 1100.

Romney is the nominee. Jeb bet his wad on 2016.

It helps Jeb because whatever the party thinks about Jeb they know that he is vetted and isn't going to get tripped up on something like this.

Its in the Bush's interest that Romney not only lose but lose in way that finishes him off as a candidate forever.

That's the beauty of Baingate, it not only fits in the President's strategy, it also fits well with Jeb's.

For that reason, its not going away.

But I'm holding back on proclaiming this from the rooftops. Too many on our side don't understand corporate governance set up by the corporatists. If Bain comes out with some of the right paperwork, we'll look like kooky conspiracy nuts.

If we make unsubstantiated claims that turn out to be disproven. It's something worth looking into, I agree, but I have a suspicion that this guy wouldn't be running for President if he didn't have all his ducks in a row.

At this point the Romney campaign is not denying the facts, callling it a 'quirk in the law'.

This will bring tremendous pressure for more disclosrue, including income taxes, which will show a substantial income from Bain for those years.

People may not understand corporate filings but they will understand getting millions of dollars from a company that you are supposedly no longer involved in.

...whether or not he took tax BENEFITS from OPERATIONAL managment at Bain...

For instance, he took mileage for traveling back and forth to Bain buildings or outsourcing firms etc.

rMoneys whole argument to the SEC is it wasn't an operational management of the company it was only prima facial...

You can't be be prima facial OPERATIONAL management if you're getting tax benefits from it.

This is serious....and not a political move should be made...

rMoney had to lie on MULTIPLE federal forms about his time at Bain...
