"The thing about this show is it starts with digesting an enormous amount of information every day, and then basically throwing it all out and saying, 'OK, that's what everybody already knows.'"

And tonight she's displaying that as vividly as ever.

It's ironic that MSNBC has been discussing that very distracting "bleeding face lift" topic all day, and then Rachel comes on.

seems to be working. It's an action-producing distraction Trump can count on, every single time. Bang on that bell, trained squirrels, and I'll see that you get plenty of nuts.

The Trump vs. Mika tweet was newsworthy, but I'm not convinced it merited 24/7 coverage. TV panel after panel after panel dove deeply into the political, cultural, historical implications of Trump's tweet. Does he hate women? Why the fixation on blood? Too bad we don't have time to talk about health care. What about Melania's anti-bully campaign? Who can make Trump stop tweeting?

By the way....what's happening in Mosul?

I listened to her for the full 20 minutes or so - standing directly in front of the TV. I understood every word she said. I had trouble getting to sleep. I'm going to look for the video now, watch it again and share it.
