How will Trump be Removed from the Presidency?

Personally, I think aliens from the planet Snafubar will finally track him down and take him home. But that's just me. What about you?

It will happen when, not if, Chump turns on the republican congressional caucus. They will piss him off eventually, it's only a matter of time. He will threaten to start working with the dems, and he will be gone.

As long as we as a party are more interested in being a touring political nostalgia act than actually winning elections I wouldn't bet against Trump being re-elected, because we clearly haven't learned anything from the election or aftermath.

I hoped for the best, I hoped she would be running against Ted Cruz but by February 2016 I had made peace with the fact we were probably going to lose the election.

Seems like we're at the bottom of a deep well, with no way up, because the interior walls are covered in slime.

The extent to which there was a cult-like devotion to Nancy Pelosi is something I only became aware of recently, posters on this very site have said there is no point winning control of the house without her, that sounds like something a suicidal ex-boyfriend would say.

But as I see it we ultimately have people who are trapped in idol worship of Clinton, Sanders, Pelosi and Obama.

Admiration of any or all of those figures is just fine, but none of them can deliver us electoral victory.

Obama has a role to play, but neither he and certainly not Hillary Clinton can be our public standard bearers.

It's ridiculous and futile to think that everything will work out if we just follow the lead of Person X, whoever that may be. All politics is local. This mess has to be fixed from the ground up.

I have spent most of my life watching us lose races to weak Republicans in Orange County by sheer virtue of running even weaker candidates still. The NRCC has for instance left Congresslout Dana Rohrabacher for dead several times only for our awful candidates to blow it.

But there has to be a national movement, that national movement needs faces and voices and those faces and voices shouldn't be defined by deference to seniority alone.

Whether it's Mitt Romney or Hillary Clinton's "turn" to run for President doesn't matter to the voting public, neither does Democratic Caucus seniority, we don't have to go very far into the past to find a time we did this better.

followed by something to the effect of "I finished all I meant to do early, so I'm the best president EVER!".

I'd like to see impeachment and conviction, but a 25th amendment solution would be ok too. I don't want him to die in office.

Thank you, and definitely recommended.

I voted for impeachment, but I would put resigned (quit) a very close second. An associate and I were discussing this very topic earlier this afternoon.

In reality, I think some stone cold operative for some unnamed intel service will help that heart attack happen, but it will be cardiac arrest.

He's dangerous and he's been playing with some very heavy hitters.

24. Donald J Trump will be brought down by NY AG Eric Schneiderman
Fri Jun 30, 2017, 11:46 PM
Jun 2017

He will fire Mueller and let the politics in Congress prevent any further investigation. He'll take his chance on his base not giving one shit about it, either. And he'll be right.

And then the ball will be tossed to Eric Schneiderman, and all hell will break loose. Eric and RICO are not DJ's friends. Trump can't avoid indictment in state court; can't pardon or be pardoned for a criminal matter in state court; and won't BELIEVE the sentence that's waiting for him there.

That's how Trump is going down. New York will finally drain its swamp and save America once and for all.
