The Democratic Party does not need a civil war now or later

I was a Bernie Sanders Delegate at the Democratic Convention in Philly. I supported the policies he articulated then and still do today. When the process was over, I proudly supported the nominee of the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, one hundred percent.

There are currently a lot of animosities between factions in the Democratic Party. Many women and men, especially baby boomers feel there would not be another opportunity in their lifetime to elect a woman. Most Bernie supporters are justifiably upset that the Democratic Establishment had a clear bias for Hillary Clinton.

Here are my thoughts.

3. I wasn't here to see the fighting during the primaries, thank goodness.

My impression is that those fights made some posters very salty, but maybe I'm wrong?

Bernie is more aligned with my relatively far-left attitudes, but I didn't even vote in the primaries because I would've been pretty happy with either of them. I was also worried, after hearing the mantra so many times, that Bernie might be too socialist to win a general election. Trump was totally unacceptable to me. Looking back on it, Bernie might've fared just as well if not better. I'm not sure and I don't want to dwell on that hypothetical situation now.

4. "Bias"? Hillary won, egberto. She got more votes than Bernie, and more than Trump.

The "coming civil war" is not being generated from Hillary's side.

I think that shows how shallow they are and I don't think it is "most". I think it's a small fraction of those who voted for Sanders in the primary. Most of them get it.
