In 2012 the standard cost/deduction is $99.90.

In 2011 it was $115.40.

[e-mail] will do the academically responsible thing and post a retraction (if he posted it or made it to be posted) or a correction (if he didn't) since it went out under his name.

And, if he did post it and won't post a retraction, I wonder if his associated University has a policy on academic/publishing integrity that it would be willing to enforce, since an academic institution is only as credible as its academics?

18. Sadly, many seniors will likely think this is reliable information.

They probably never heard of Snopes, and back in their day Blue Cross/Blue Shield was considered extremely reputable. So now we gotta get the word out about this.
