We need to establish a D-DAY and hold to it!est. assemble points and storage points for weapons outside of D.C. Traveling from the south all states up to D.C. are CWP states , therefor VA. is the nearest the W.H. and should have the arms stored near the northern VA. border and shuttled to us after we establish our position at the W.H. Obama should be taken into custody first and work down from there. VP, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the traitors. NO VIOLENCE. Call for arms only when absolutely needed. This is a peaceful, bloodless citizens revolt and may be our last chance to save our nation. They may try to stop us but I don't think they are up for it!! As soon as we begin we should concentrate on rapid action with custody teams assigned to each pol. Not just libs, but cons. as well who have worked for the downfall of OUR COUNTRY. Let's have a planning session soon. whoever is the MFWIC must send out a notice two weeks before the meet. Let's GO !! xxxxx

Right on! NO VIOLENCE as they peacefully take the government into custody.
This is the same nitwit that the Secret Service visited before. After the ruling this week I just got curious about how they were handling it so I peeked in and holy moley, they are all so phreaking nuts. Some will look for help from county sheriffs and some are trading email so spies (ahem) won't know their plans.

I have sent a request to our Governor, asking that he pass a law to protect our privacy on line. We need to get a class action suit against Google and Government to block the harassment and spying. We all need to break out our old CB radios for local comm, and sign up for private email accounts or a message board that does not broadcast our messages. Is there a lawyer on this site that would help? They have been messing with my connection since last night. This is first time I have been able to get here since!

And we're not alone by far.
We continue to see a lot of loose talk from the right about 'revolution' or 'civil war.' Sometimes, we even see that kind of talk from our brothers on the Left.
Apart from Slayer's quite devastating point, those of us who have been there, who have seen combat up close and personal, question why anyone would wish that upon our fellow and sister Americans.
Apart from the other craziness, THAT is what I will never fucking get. Death and maiming in our families would be a good thing? Just because we have a black guy in the Oval Office? As much as we like to slam Pharmaceuticals, I think there are some people who could use a few more...

What ordinary item don't you have by choice that most people do?
I don't have or use electric can openers. I have one in the pantry (it was given to me used). But I don't see the need for them. I have a perfectly good and easy to use Kitchen-Aid manual can opener. It fits in a drawer. Someone told me I'm weird for not having an electric can opener.

Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) says he will have Eric Holder arrested
GOP House Rep To Megyn Kelly: We Could Have Eric Holder Arrested
Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) appeared on Fox News Channels America Live with Megyn Kelly on Friday where he discussed the ongoing House Republican efforts to investigate Attorney General Eric Holders involvement into the Fast and Furious gun walking scandal. There he revealed that the House GOP could move to have Holder arrested following a House vote on Thursday that found him in contempt of Congress.
-snip-
Kelly says that she is aware of another option that the Sargent at Arms of the House can be instructed to arrest Holder. Are you going to do that, asked Kelly.
That would be fairly dramatic, but yes, said Chaffetz. Three options: going through the U.S. attorney, going into civil court or have the Sargent at Arms take control of the situation which I think some people are going to say we ought to do but were going to exhaust the other ones first.
Really, replied Kelly.
I find it hard and dramatic to do, but we want to get to the bottom of this, said Chaffetz. Were serious about this.

Remember to set your clocks forward tonight
The transition from June to July will be delayed by circumstances beyond everyone's control. Time will stand still for one second on Saturday evening (June 30) because a "leap second" will be added to let a lagging Earth catch up to super-accurate clocks.
....
As a result of this difference, atomic clocks, which are used to set all other clocks, can get out of sync with the Earth and periodically have to be adjusted. A leap second has to be added from time to time to make up the difference.
The next time will be Saturday, when the master clock at the United States Naval Observatory will be adjusted at 7:59:60 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, or 23:59:60 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This will put Mother Earth about four-tenths of a second ahead of the clock, giving her a bit of a head start as we transition into the new month of July.

Terry Branstad, Iowa Governor, Leaves Hospital After Choking On Carrot
Source: AP via HuffPo
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad was briefly hospitalized Wednesday in Los Angeles after choking on food during a ceremony for the re-dedication of the USS Iowa battleship, his spokesman said.
Branstad choked on a carrot during the event and vomited, spokesman Tim Albrecht said. He said the governor was taken to a nearby hospital "out of an overabundance of caution," went through a series of tests and was released after his health turned out to be fine.
"We're glad he's okay. He's in great spirits," Albrecht said. "He's probably a little more embarrassed than anything."

First Photo of Shadow of Single Atom
ScienceDaily (July 3, 2012) In an international scientific breakthrough, a Griffith University research team has been able to photograph the shadow of a single atom for the first time.
"We have reached the extreme limit of microscopy; you can not see anything smaller than an atom using visible light," Professor Dave Kielpinski of Griffith University's Centre for Quantum Dynamics in Brisbane, Australia.
"We wanted to investigate how few atoms are required to cast a shadow and we proved it takes just one," Professor Kielpinski said.
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/07/120703172543.htm
Published this week in Nature Communications, "Absorption imaging of a single atom "is the result of work over the last 5 years by the Kielpinski/Streed research team.

BACKFIRED: Louisiana GOP Angry That Muslims Can Use School Vouchers
GOP legislators in Louisiana have realized to their horror that their bill to provide vouchers for private religious schools can actually be used by Muslims.
Rep. Valarie Hodges, a Republican who represents East Baton Rouge and Livingston, now says she wishes she hadnt voted for the Jindal voucher bill. I actually support funding for teaching the fundamentals of Americas Founding Fathers religion, which is Christianity, in public schools or private schools, Hodges told the Livingston Parish News. "I liked the idea of giving parents the option of sending their children to a public school or a Christian school, Hodges added. The newspaper reported that she mistakenly assumed that religious meant Christian. Unfortunately it will not be limited to the Founders religion, Hodges told the News. We need to insure that it does not open the door to fund radical Islam schools. There are a thousand Muslim schools that have sprung up recently. I do not support using public funds for teaching Islam anywhere here in Louisiana.
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State writes:
Some legislators arent comfortable funding Muslim schools. Whats to be done? How about not establishing these programs in the first place? Let Muslims fund Muslim schools. Let Catholics fund Catholics ones. Let fundamentalist Protestants pay for the conservative Christian academies and so on.
The law has already gone into effect and provides for no state oversight regarding curriculum or educational standards.

Anderson Cooper: "The Fact Is, I'm Gay."
......................
I've always believed that who a reporter votes for, what religion they are, who they love, should not be something they have to discuss publicly. As long as a journalist shows fairness and honesty in his or her work, their private life shouldn't matter. Ive stuck to those principles for my entire professional career, even when Ive been directly asked the gay question, which happens occasionally. I did not address my sexual orientation in the memoir I wrote several years ago because it was a book focused on war, disasters, loss and survival. I didn't set out to write about other aspects of my life.
Recently, however, Ive begun to consider whether the unintended outcomes of maintaining my privacy outweigh personal and professional principle. Its become clear to me that by remaining silent on certain aspects of my personal life for so long, I have given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something - something that makes me uncomfortable, ashamed or even afraid. This is distressing because it is simply not true.
Ive also been reminded recently that while as a society we are moving toward greater inclusion and equality for all people, the tide of history only advances when people make themselves fully visible. There continue to be far too many incidences of bullying of young people, as well as discrimination and violence against people of all ages, based on their sexual orientation, and I believe there is value in making clear where I stand.
The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldnt be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.

Mittens dispatching Jindal & Pawlenty to refute Obama on his bus tour
(the Jindal-Pawlenty tour aka the bore tour):
For the Ohio leg of the trip, Romney has dispatched Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty to visit the regions on Obama's itinerary ahead of the president's arrival.
They will "emphasize the gap between what President Obama said he would accomplish and his lack of results on jobs, health care and the debt," a Romney spokesman told the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Obama has released new advertising questioning Romney's commitment to keeping jobs in America while pointing to his decision to rescue U.S. automakers, a major employer in Ohio.
Obama will deliver his first address Thursday in Maumee, Ohio, before traveling to Sandusky and Parma. The bus tour starts a new phase of Obama's re-election campaign as he takes a more retail-oriented approach before the September convention in Charlotte, N.C. It follows a six-state bus trip by Romney through the Midwest last month that included stops in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
