Trump is doing a great job of hurting himself and his party. Now at least some sympathy for his family has emerged, (although I personally think he doesn't really care about that either; just using it to his advantage). We're all aware of the horrific things Ted Nugent and the right said, but rightly or wrongly, the visceral impact of holding a bloody, severed head is higher. We have freedom of expression in this country. While I think her Trump head was a bit over the top, it doesn't hold a candle to all the years that Obama was lynched in effigy, gorilla faces were photoshopped onto Michelle, Barack dressed as a witch doctor and on and on...and nobody got fired, nobody got death threats, everyone on the right just sort of snickered up their collective sleeves.
