General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHillary is on MSNBC speaking at a tech conference.
She's discussing tech and politics. She discusses this important issue yet the fake prez doesn't ever mention it as if it didn't happen and no longer is a problem. Even though the election is over the Russians are still influencing our democracy through tech and we need to address this very important issue. They're 10 years ahead of us in internet warfare!

Glad she had the chance to make that point.
In all fairness for her.

(1,353 posts)She would have been a brilliant president...and it was treasonously taken away from us. I want Trump and associates taken down as hard as possible. Why can't this election be considered illegitimate? I do feel once all is exposed, we'll be shellshocked...
Hillary to the rescue!!

(27,800 posts)They never really looked at all those ballots. There is some quirk in the recount rule that prevented them from looking at the undervote; I can't recall offhand exactly what it was, but some Catch-22 bs.
MiddleClass
(888 posts)They're not actually looking at the ballots,
they are feeding the ballots through a collator, like copier machine.
The hand recount, was stopped by legislation, defense Attorney's, and the state supreme court

(14,167 posts)As much as DWS is the whipping girl for all the problems at the DNC, the fault of this terrible situation with the party lies with the Obama team.

Let the record speak for itself,
professors do that.
Politicians don't, they live for theater, despite widely against what they're promoting
In this scenario, politician will beat you every time.
How many people in Ohio have their jobs because of the auto bailout? How many of them voted for Donald Trump, because of an attitude that Obama bailed out the auto companies, I didn't get my 300 dollars check.
To hell with them

(1,353 posts)This is so clearly being laid out...collusion had to have been done with Trump campaign...
She is fascinating...and of course night and day to what POS sits in power right now. She is blaming Comey still and I hope Comey redeems himself when Trump is taken down.

(9,524 posts)Rrom British point of view but connects dots with the global mobsters and Trump and Co. and how they used data/technology /media and most certainly still are:
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/may/07/the-great-british-brexit-robbery-hijacked-democracy?CMP=share_btn_tw
A shadowy global operation involving big data, billionaire friends of Trump and the disparate forces of the Leave campaign influenced the result of the EU referendum. As Britain heads to the polls again, is our electoral process still fit for purpose?
It also reveals a critical and gaping hole in the political debate in Britain. Because what is happening in America and what is happening in Britain are entwined. Brexit and Trump are entwined. The Trump administrations links to Russia and Britain are entwined. And Cambridge Analytica is one point of focus through which we can see all these relationships in play; it also reveals the elephant in the room as we hurtle into a general election: Britain tying its future to an America that is being remade - in a radical and alarming way - by Trump.
There are three strands to this story. How the foundations of an authoritarian surveillance state are being laid in the US. How British democracy was subverted through a covert, far-reaching plan of coordination enabled by a US billionaire. And how we are in the midst of a massive land grab for power by billionaires via our data. Data which is being silently amassed, harvested and stored. Whoever owns this data owns the future.
My entry point into this story began, as so many things do, with a late-night Google. Last December, I took an unsettling tumble into a wormhole of Google autocomplete suggestions that ended with did the holocaust happen. And an entire page of results that claimed it didnt.

(16,950 posts)pundits already criticizing her speaking out, as if they are trying to insinuate there was something wrong with that, but she of all people should be talking about this unprecedented collusion that has taken place. Everything else she was talking about is still pertinent, too. This talk was so good, I'm going to try and find the podcast to bookmark.
