"Ballots or Bullets?" When right wing bloggers cross the line into condoning violence

As the Romney campaign flounders and the baggers get more desperate, I am seeing an increase in violent imagery among the wingnuts. Saw this post at a largely right wing site:

Really think they are starting a psych campaign to get one of these nuts to use bullets as a "solution." Did they learn nothing from the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords? The "targeting" and "2nd amendment solutions" are all over the web.

Should this thing and others like it be reported, and if so, to whom?

3. For some reason they have really been empowered since the Bush era...

I think it was because they were encouraged by McCain and Palin, and the right wing idols, with more and more violent language. Once President Obama was elected, they got even angrier.

One trend I'm seeing on the various internet comments on news sites and such, is that the language of the posters is also getting very very violent. Lots of calls for killing people who have stolen a purse, or sprayed graffiti. Literally seeing tons of "hang 'em high," comments now. The angry white men are getting angrier because of the 'they didn't win, you LOST' mentality of their idols on radio and tv.

Most comment areas on any news site, regardless of how liberal the local area might be, are overrun with freeper type people, who advocate violence, who believe that every problem can be solved with a bullett, and seem to have descended into a deep paranoia over their perceived belief that America has turned into something out of Road Warrior. These guys are posting that they sleep with two guns by their pillow, others post about how they keep a loaded weapon on their coffee table, or one in every room. Most comment that they answer the door with a loaded gun now... it's frightening that they've been led to believe that America has deteriorated to that degree.

But there are people in the media who are instigating this. My neighbor, a Glenn Beck fan who also listens to talk radio all day and night (and actually told me that she sleeps with ear buds at night, so she can fall asleep listening to talk radio all night,) she TRULY believes that Obama is going to fly drones over her house to spy on her, and that the republicans will be going into concentration camps, and that they need to be armed because the economy will collapse and we will all be killing each other for food. They have a garden, a ham radio, and weapons. And these are people that, unless you talked to at length, you'd assume to be moderate church-going christians down the street. Yes, they are all being whipped into a paranoid frenzy, and the Big Lie style narrative has successfully demonized politicians, liberals, and public workers.

It's frightening.. gun sales are skyrocketing because these folks believe that crime is rampant (when it's actually way down in most areas,) and that the govt is coming for them. I don't understand why we can't get a handle on the media.. there USED to be standards.

that even if the majority of people vote for it, congress passes it, the president signs in, and the supreme court approves it, it doesn't matter if they don't agree with it. Sorriest bunch of losers ever. They think they are so American that they are above pesky little details like "democracy" - because they are too many "not real" Americans allowed to vote - and, since everyone who doesn't agree with them is "ignorant" they don't deserve to vote in the first place. It is cognitive dissonance gone wild.

When the read an article talking about the "Demolition Of Free Enterprise" their mental image is something like......
Obama is going to keep me from starting up my million dollar a year lemonade stand.
Rather than.
The freedom of large corporations to rape and pillage.
When the read an article talking about the "Democratic Socialism" their mental image is something like......
Obama is going to tax me to death to give welfare queens Cadillacs and feed those lazy basters food stamps.
Rather than the concept of society, that it has a cost and must be maintained.
They go to the right wing troft of misinformation every day for their feeding of altered reality.

It then becomes of little wonder that when a right wing giver of truth carries on about second amendment remedies they think about doing something about it. With their guns.
Sooner or later one of them with other mental afflictions will get out that Glock and in fact, do something about it.
And sooner or later a group of them will get out their automatic weapons fully believing that their going to take down an A1 Abrams or an A 10 Warthog.

I am convinced that if the phych campaign continues, that in their alternate universe, they will believe that if enough of them band together, well anything is possable.
It just might be. Look at how little success two successive nations with far superior weapons have had in Afghanistan.

Hopefully something like the FBI, CIA or even the local police are keeping a close watch on thees loonies.

9. Never underestimate the viciousness of a desperate bully

The teanuts have the mentality of serial killers, serial rapists, and pedophiles. They are compulsive, genocidal maniacs who won't stop until and unless somebody else stops them.

IMO, every tea party type either belongs in prison, not in elected office, much less roaming the streets armed to the teeth. Authoritarian personality is a serious moral and character defect AFAIC.
