3. I don't really know of many other milk brands around here aside from Weigel's.

Well, and the store brand, but I dislike giving Food City anymore of my money than I have to. I worked for them and I distinctly remember being showed an anti-union video.

"Mayfield's grandfather started Mayfield Dairy Farms. After graduation, Mayfield returned to the family business, and was named president of the organization in 1995.[6][9] Mayfield handles most of the firm's advertising"

It's one of the biggest brands of icecream and milk, at least where I live.

I had to figure out that Mayfield sells dairy products.

Around here, it's Robinson Dairy or Shamrock Foods or local grocery's brand.

11. Highest priced brand in the stores around here, and I live 12 miles from their plant!

They do employ a lot of people from here, which helps contribute to our local economies here and in surrounding counties. That's a good thing, in a town where so many businesses have shut down and left.

If he were to win, he would be my Representative, but the county his plant is in wouldn't be in his district. His house on Watts Bar Lake would be in his district though.

Mayfield is known for a history of innovation. The company boasts that founder T.B. Mayfield had the first milk plant in the area capable of pasteurizing milk.[4]

In 1970 Mayfield's Athens plant was the first in the industry to successfully implement in-plant blow-molding for production of plastic milk jugs.[5] In 1988 Mayfield was the first dairy to use an opaque plastic milk jug that protects milk from ultraviolet light.[6] In 1995, Mayfield launched the single-serve Chug milk bottle for Dean Foods.[5] The single-serve bottle increased milk consumption by letting milk compete with single-serving soft drinks.[7] In 2002 its Clik-Top re-sealable ice cream carton, including a break-seal that makes the package easier to open and a locking tab to keep the carton closed during storage, was greeted as a packaging first

leech chemicals into the milk. Drink it, kid, it'll make you big and strong. And a mutant, like those cartoons you love so much!

But, really, is the keeping of child-names ("Scottie&quot a custom of anywhere but the south? And I do forgive Jimmy Carter because he was a great president and IS a great person, helping others and living life according to the Christianity I learned as a child, which is antithetical to the current version, almost like "Antichrist." Well, not "almost."

He did divest himself from the southern batshits some years ago, and now they call him a commie, or worse. Jesus is spinning in his grave (h/t Simpsons).
