Yes - the vote was disastrous, and returning to the status quo pre ACA will be disastrous. But all of the handwringing about killing people meaning the death of the republican control of the house in 2018 - as if the US citizens couldn't ever accept the state of affairs as it was only a few short years ago - is a bit surreal.

My biggest complaint about the ACA was that it was implemented too slowly to be the foundation for health care before Obama left office - it is just barely past the frothing-at-the-mouth stage, which made it possible to repeal.

24 million people get spread out among 350 million people. I also expect states that are solidly blue to protect their citizens health, reducing the impact even more.

All this is disconcerting. Voters that will be badly hurt by this can't think of voting anything but republican. I have seen workers helped dramatically by Unions ripping Unions to shreds verbally. Crazy stuff.

Gotta give those former miners jobs and they already know how to run a bulldozer.

Since they'll have to ship the bodies long distances, they have to build the oil pipelines. Can't have oil trains hogging up the railroads they'll need for the corpse trains.

It's a sick thought but we need a little humor. Dark sarcasm seems to be the only kind of humor that fits anymore.

They can do that in an afternoon with heavy equipment, so they'll wait until the bodies start to pile up.

could not fit as many bodies.
