Things my Faux News listening neighbor says about Rmoney and Obama
He and I had a lot of time recently to chat about many things (we lost our power in that weird storm on the East coast). Anyway, he was stating that Obama will not get reelected, he's done horrible things to the country and that Rmoney would make a much better President. I asked him in what regards he'd make a better President and he said he'd improve the economy. I asked him if he'd improve the economy the way he did when he worked with Bain and he said yes. I said, so, it's better the President of the US is responsible for the loss of tens of thousands of jobs... which put lots of money in his pocket instead of in the economy... so, he'd be better in that way? His reply... Obama is a socialist! So I had to ask, how can Obama be a socialist when he's supposed to be a Muslim? I told him, I don't know that I've ever heard of a socialist Muslim... amazingly, that seemed to confuse him immensely, ending the conversation.
I was reading another post about Rmoney being the lying-est politician we've ever seen and I had to think about the conversation I had with my neighbor. It's the Faux News era, and the only way to convince repubs/conservatives to vote against their interests is to lie and do so repeatedly. It's just a form of propaganda and brainwashing. Faux has been busy beating the socialist mantra so much, my neighbor forgot about the Muslim one.
