I figured out The GOP Game plan

It was to totally Humiliate Obama: Scorched Earth plan.


Their plan was to spend the next FIVE MONTHS of smearing Obama's face into the loss of his signature piece of legislation. Months of calling his term a complete failure.

Then top it off, You recall the rush to get the Contempt vote...it was supposed to be timed PERFECTLY. The Holder contempt vote was supposed to be ICING ON THE CAKE.

It all backfired on them.

you think they had the "Withholding healthcare for the working poor as a valid plan to use just in case the ruling didn't go their way?

Calling into question the integrity of the Chief Supreme Court Justice?

They thought they had this, they didn't create a back up plan...I WOULD NOT be surprised, this was thought up in that little meeting they had when Obama was celebrating his inauguration.

Not the details of Fast and Furious...Just Issa's vow to have committee hearings, dig up something.

They wanted to punish the American people for ever thinking of voting for someone like Obama ever again..Make them totally regret it....Scorched Earth.

6. Yes, the behavior of the authoritarian personality

That lesson teaching sounds accurate, but they are also pragmatic, they just want to win. I think they hate dems more than minorities.

Scorched earth is right though, drown government in a bathtub.

Try as I might I cannot wrap my head around their blind spots. How can we function with government crippled?

and how the repigs blocked any meaningful legislation that could have kept it from imploding. All just to make Obama look bad and ensure the Greedy Old Pigs got into power.

they were even willing to make sure that the credit rating of the U.S. was dropped in a flashy and dramatic fashion, despite the fact that it would eventually hurt them in the end.

The Democrats were poised to be in full damage control mode against the Republican chest beating and the talking points were all fired up and ready to go.

Then it went the other way leaving Republicans with no backup plan and Democrats acting for days like they didn't know what to do with their victory.
