Quit the bickering, it is only 8 months until the 2018 election!!

Well, actually it is 18 months but one of the most important parts is having our candidates selected and on the ballot and for Texas, that is January 1st 2018.

I was a Democratic Party County Chairman of a very small Texas county so I didn't have to be concerned about some of the things that occurred in the larger counties BUT there is one thing we all needed to do and that was to
HAVE OUR CANDIDATES REGISTERED BY THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.

We need to have our ducks in a row in Texas by the first of the year and have them ready for the Primary in March.
It sneaks up on us here because of the early primary.

This is just a reminder of how quick everything will need to be in order for 2018 for some states. Some states will have more time.
