in social media trolling. This breaking story does not surprise me. Putin wants Le Pen because he wants to break the EU. He wanted Dolt45 to break NATO.

given what happened here.

Of course, the Russians wanted Le Pen, the female Trump. No surprise there.

7. Wonder if Macron still wants to drop sanctions against Russia?

A few months ago he indicated that France needs closer ties to Russia, which used to be a talking point for neoliberals like him because there's lots of business to be done in Russia:
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-macron-trump-idUSKBN14W006

Our German SPD (social democratic party) ex-chancellor Gerhard Schröder actually started working for Gazprom when Merkel took over. He's a neoliberal. (He reduced unemployment benefits drastically to cut income taxes through "Agenda 2010", and some left-wing voters still hate Schröder and the SPD because of it. The SPD is now split into plain old neoliberal SPD and "Die Linke", former GDR SED party which puts a heavy focus on economic issues but obviously has a shady background and actual communists as party members.)

Schröder also called Putin a "flawless democrat". http://www.abendblatt.de/politik/deutschland/article106930893/Schroeder-Putin-ist-lupenreiner-Demokrat.html

Maybe it's a good time to reconsider that thought held by some European neoliberals now.
