16. My sister and I were just discussing this sort of thing

Our Mother is 82, has dementia, and is in assisted living. She is a bit worse than this, but not by that much! Lots of looping back to key topics and words like "fake news", the ratings of a past interview, looping and looping, with contradictions.

Mom yesterday said her clothes are tight, I asked if it was the new clothes we bought her that she said fit, she said no, her other clothes (sure). Then I asked if she was walking like the Dr asked, she said yes, I asked if she used her walker, again yes (nope, wrong again). Then she immediately went to her go-to topic of late, my sister's divorce last fall and how awful my ex-BIL is. She talked about calling HIS mom (for the millionth time) and the conversation, she recalls it verbatim. We talk about Trump being awful, then suddenly back to my sister's divorce..................................
