In 2005 tim Kaine said he personally opposed abortion but was not anti choice

I know it's a post fact world I still like facts

She has not been effective since 2010.
She is unpopular with most voters.
She is seen as keeping new talent out.
And most importantly, her gift for fundraising is a negative today. Democrats should shun all corporate money.

She has my undying admiration for her strength and leadership abilities. But today she is sounding too much like Bernie in the sense of a "broken record". And,given a microphone, she inevitably stumbles.

Please Nancy, help usher in a new generation.

thing for some here on DU. She is doing a pretty good job with the House, and the only talent she has kept out is that Tim guy who failed to gain many votes, indicating a lack of popularity and effectiveness on his part.

No, fundraising is not an unfavorable today, not to anyone who understands what Citizens United and unlimited GOP coffers actually mean in real life. I have not seen her stumble or echo anyone, asking her to step down is silly. I know it is the fondest dream of the right wing, but really now! On a Democratic message board for heaven's sake!

Republicans hate Pelosi because she has repeatedly proven to be an effective leader. Even as a former Bernie supporter, I'd trade six (maybe seven) Bernies for one Pelosi.

By the way. This: "I know it is the fondest dream of the right wing, but really now! On a Democratic message board for heaven's sake!" Good stuff. Started my day with a smile.

I like Tim Ryan but he should never be speaker, and I live in Ohio. You need a speaker from a blue blue state...Nancy got us health care and saved millions of lives in the process...sacrificed her majority for the welfare of others...and I have a daughter who is alive thanks to her and president Obama who gave us the ACA. No one but Nancy would have been able to pass that bill... and, she is holding her caucus together and fighting Trump...Fund raising is never a negative in the age of United. It takes money to win elections. I will never understand such a viewpoint...one of the reasons we lost the states is because we changed our fundraising at the DNC and there was no money...but thankfully that has changed.

Any Democratic leader will be unpopular with "most voters" after Republican spin machine is done

There's plenty of new talent if you watch MSNBC they feature them. It's gerrymandering that keeps young talent out

Democrats shunning corporate funding is like going to a gun fight with a deck of cards

So considering NONE of your points holds water maybe you should delete your post.

and her connection to four failed attempts to gain back control with her very vague talking points, carry on losing. Facing reality is a better option.

She is popular with a narrow majority of the Democratic Party which is polling at about 45% nationally. Adding up the pros and cons tell us that change is better than no change.

Facing reality requires owning up to facts, which the disparaging comments ignore all together.

We are not losing, but if reality is that difficult to deal with, carry on denying it, it is not true, or helpful to continue on with this negative propaganda.

She is popular with anyone paying any attention to reality, those lising their minds about her are the GOP and those who are pushing their agenda.

The "all change is good no matter what" is a ridiculous mantra shouted by those whose lives and livlihoods are not threatened. For those of us who are not well off white males, we have higher standards, and attacking a strong woman who understands what these vague white men who are telling a lot cannot, is a poor way fight. It is a prescription to lose, and lose badly. No, thank you.

Me.

She is one of the best fundraisers the party has

“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi brought in nearly $35 million for Democrats during the third quarter of this year, further cementing her role as Democrats' big money raiser as she surpasses her fundraising total for the last election cycle.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) reported a $34.6 million haul for the months of July, August and September, including nearly $29 million for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Pelosi has raised nearly $128 million for House Democrats this cycle, already surpassing the $101 million she brought in during the 2014 election.”

“Before they get to redistricting reform, they’ll need cash.

Democrats leading the party’s new effort to coordinate political and legal resources to redraw state legislatures’ and House of Representatives’ maps will kick off the first phase of fundraising next weekend, heading to San Francisco on Saturday and Los Angeles on Sunday to make their case to some of California’s biggest donors.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder — who’s chairing the National Democratic Redistricting Committee — will be joined by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe. “
