a deal with the Chinese billionaire on the US trillion dollar infrastructure plan. Erin Burnett OutFront on CNN just reported that Paul Manafort met with a Chinese billionaire in Shanghi last Tuesday to discuss the U.S. infrastructure project. The Financial Times reporter who broke the story on CNN said his Editor happened to be in China last week and in the same office where the meeting was scheduled to take place and noticed a big map of the US in the same office where the Chinese billionaire was meeting with someone. They asked why the map was up there and what did it mean. They were told that they had a meeting with Paul later on to discuss a deal on Trump's trillion dollar infrastructure plan and they hope to get a piece of the pie. When the guy mentioned "Paul" a second time, they asked "Paul who". The Chinese businessman said Paul Manafort. The reporter said that he hung around returning after the anticipated meeting and then asked whether Manafort had shown up. He did.
So looks like Trump has plans to sell out the working class people of the US who voted for him and his jobs, jobs, jobs on the Infrastructure plan, and Paul Manafort is still involved with the Trump administration. No doubt, as a SILENT PARTNER. Maybe that's what Trump needed all those Trademarks he received from the Chinese President last week, and who knows what else they discussed now that they are new best friends.
Update: Here are two links discussing last weeks meetings:

(3,335 posts)The last time I looked they were the same military, with the same training, and the same equipment, same vehicles and aircraft, and the same commanders in the field. And despite nothing materially having changed in the past 70 plus days since he's been in office, they are suddenly transformed (no longer a mess as their new Commander in Chief previously referred to them) because their Commander-in-Chief views them in a different light now that he is in charge of them. And then just maybe they are the same professional military fighting force despite their having an ignorant fool as a Commander-in-Chief. And I say that as someone who has worn the uniform.
