Even with a lull in the Russian investigation and all the distractions Trump is at 39% approval

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10028934777

What happens when he runs out of distractions, the focus is back on Russia, and Americans notice the economy and markets have stalled?

During the campaign his favorability ratings sank to the high twenties/low thirties.

No president has gone into a mid term with those kind of numbers.

after he fails to follow through on campaign promises.

The Wall in unlikely to get built due to lack of funds. Mexico will never pay for it.

Trump's windfall tax cuts for the top 1% are unlikely to pass congress. And that should kill his tax cut proposals.

The freedom caucus is not going to compromise on repeal & replace of Obamacare. My bet is Obamacare stays as is.

After these 3 items fail to satisfy his base, look for approval in the low 20's.

He is not happy with trump, but he still wants to give him a chance. I think a lot of trump voters are thinking the same way. It's hard to admit you were a dumb fuck voting for trump.

A lot of "smart" people have realized he isn't go to juice the economy and it has stalled.
