And yes in this case, China is the adult in the room.
Very sad that our former ally South Korea turned out to be as lame and useless as we are.

(9,866 posts)....causing the elevation of China and Russia as super-powers. He's immensely harming the reputation and perceived power of America. If anything, all our allies must be secretly discussing how to contain him, given that America can no longer be counted on.
Several world history pundits are observing how much he's creating a void into which China is rushing.
China and Russia as completely undemocratic oligarchies terrify me as world leaders.
Wish Denmark, Holland and even Canada could instead step into the breach, LOL.
