Mon Apr 10, 2017, 10:35 AM

So you see the guy across the street viciously beating his wife.

Because you think time is of the essence, rather than just calling police, you decide you need to confront the guy yourself.

But before you go, you decide to call the guy's best friend (who you yourself are in debt to).

The guy's best friend calls the guy, and he runs out of the house before you get there.

And when you get to the guy's house, instead of checking on the wife, you just decide to kick over the guy's trash cans by the curb. To send a message.

And the next day you see the guy beating his wife again.

But it's okay. You don't need to do anything else.

Because you showed you were strong and decisive.

And that you sent a message.

16. Agreed

It easily demonstrates both the futility of the action, and the degree to which the victim remains victimized. Thanks for sharing this!

The news outlets will act like your kicking over the trash cans is such a great thing that you've now evolved into a person who cares about someone other than yourself.

3. And then....

The guy's best friend declares publicly that you shouldn't have kicked over the guy's trash cans, and the reason he does this is because he wants to help you take attention away from an investigation into the increasingly obvious fact that everything you do is actually directed by the best friend because you owe him money.

Yes, I'm a conspiracy theorist, but only because all of the pieces fit the theory.

4. And actually....

The guy has been beating his wife for years and you never showed any compassion for the wife until very recently and then you really just feigned concern so you could use this most recent beating and your subsequent action as a diversion.

11. Yep, the guy's kids asked to come over and sit on your porch a spell

just to get out of the fight zone and get a moments peace. But you figure they are little thieves and poorly behaved (how could they not be living in that contentious household?) that will steal your good food and drink all your juice so you hustled them right the fuck back across the street. I mean hell, if they didn't want to be in a home full of beatings and dishes throwing they should have been born in a different house. Dumb little shits.

I just wish our current squishy voters, politicians, and media

Maybe they'd get a spine and stand up against 45 and Putin.

22. And if the wife asks if she can come over with your family for shelter

you tell her that you don't hate her or any of the people outside your house. You just love the people inside your house. And the best way to make your house great again, is to make sure the people inside the house all look the same and that can't be changed by someone outside coming in unless they also look like the people inside the house. So you tell her to go F herself and stay out.

Then you remember that there are people born inside your house who don't fit your idea of who belongs in your house but they've been living there long before your family moved in. This frustrates you, and you feel threatened, so you stand your ground, give diseased blankets to one of them, shoot the other one dead, and proclaim that all lives matter. You're such a good person for not seeing color. They should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps even though it is physically impossible to do so.

Then after the dude beats his wife to death, and you see him beating the kids so hard they bleed and have serious injuries, pat yourself on the back because you stopped those dangerous kids from ever stepping foot in your house. After all, kids who have been beat up might grow up to be beaters and you just can't take that chance. F the kids.

Meanwhile, every single one of the dude's neighbors thinks you're an asshole and you have no idea why they hate you so much. They must be jealous of your sweet diesel truck that you use to roll coal on those stupid liberals protesting on the sidewalk.

30. There's an important nuance here to put in.

It would be more like if you went over there to confront him yourself and the best friend was there, and it was dark and murky and by accident----you ended up clonking the friend over the head.

See, if 45 hadn't warned Russia--it would be hugely dangerous to accidentally shoot Russian planes or soldiers.

So, it's more like the best friend and the you got together and said let's both kick cans to the curb so that it looks like we give a damn about the beaten wife but meantime, the beater can just keep doing it.

'Cause it really is better to not get into a military accident with Russia--then all hell can really break loose. And both Russia and 45 know that---hence the careful coordination that allows the beating to go on, while all parties carry on as before.

31. So the news gets around and the community calls a meeting...

Then at the neighborhood meeting, all the wife beaters and wannabe wife beaters say, it's a shame that they are getting beatings. but the real shame is the wives keep pushing all their buttons. They claim that it's all good anyway cuz the Bible says women need to be obedient. So whadarya gonna do but portray the great men that you are. What they do is declare it Wife Beating Awareness Month, so the wives will get what they deserve. Then, they take up a collection and send the wife beater to a round of golf in Florida.
