Air ambulance covered? Copay? What does this cost what does that cost? STRESS ! ! ! !

Only in America can you spend hours, days researching what you are covered for and not, whether or not you need to subscribe to an air ambulance company in case you need to be lifted out of your area, etc.

And republicans want to REDUCE benefits, not increase them?

INSANITY...

Remember, the phrase "health insurance" really only exists here as does the phrase "popular vote".

If we didnt have idiots insisting on making billionaires richer at their own demise (middle class Republicans), we could change this practically overnight.

There should be no thought or stress around health coverage. It should be covered, 100% from birth to death. Like every-fucking-where else on the planet.

The Republicans say that if you are in a horrendous accident and need LifeStar, you can just go online and find the cheapest LifeStar company in your area and call them! In fact, under the Republican plan, LifeStars from different states can now fly across state lines, so maybe one from a neighboring state will fly alllllllll the way out to your accident site to pick you up, thus saving you tens of dollars due to competition (while costing thousands of dollars more for fuel).

In fact, sometimes they reserve double extra hate for people like me.

Traitors to the white race, and all that jazz.

What if you dont have the necessary acute care in your area and you have to be flown as far as 200 or 300 miles away?

Wow, could be a fortune.

One trip being unconscious and going to the ER could bankrupt a person. It's bizarre and doesn't happen in other countries. In fact, a neighbor had a Canadian visiting a few years ago who became seriously ill and a medical evacuation jet/team was sent to pick her up. The Canadian healthcare system figured it was cheaper to pick her up and take her to Toronto that to pay for her treatment in the U.S.

Yes..

Prince William is a pilot aka Captain Wales with the East Anglian Air Ambulance. He'll fly you to hospital. On the NHS. Copay: $0. No Royal Surcharge either.

And anyone want to knock "government healthcare"?

Let's see anyone Trump related do this. (Hahahaha only joking, that will never happen.)

Unfortunately, it was snowing hard and the helicopter couldn't fly.

So they bundled me into a regular ambulance and got me to the second hospital.

When I got the bill, it sure looked like they had charged for the helicopter, the EMT's time, and the 15 mile ride.

$3,000.
