whether even if the republicans were all-in.NATO member states need to protect themselves (as do other US allies ).Congressional investigations and the impeachment process takes time-if a Congressional investigation had started immediately after the inauguration it wouldn't have been soon enough for our allies intelligence services-they need to know who they can trust , now.

small population but people are openly scared of the country being abandoned by NATO with Trump's help and Russia re-occupying the country.

Ironically they did quite well under the USSR but as the first country to be free from the Russian 'union' they now love their democratic freedoms.
The 3 Baltic states are all very scared and think most Americans do not understand what that means. Most have many Russian residents but Putin is loathed.
