I was thinking of Trump's supporters and how they'll react at the end of this road we're on.

No matter how Trump goes down, and I believe he's going down, they will never accept it. If he resigns, if he's forced from office under the 25th amendment, if he's impeached, if he just has a heart attack and keels over on the 8th hole at Mar a Lago, they'll never believe it or accept it. It will be a liberal/Clinton/Obama conspiracy and we will have a severe internal fight, possibly even civil war, on our hands. His supporters have shown themselves to be able to believe anything, to be convinced of anything, and that anything is acceptable if it furthers their cause. I'm afraid I don't see this ending well. Comments?

so far, they are just denying this, calling "fake news."

Dunno what they'll do if this actually turns into something. I hope it does, but I've thought he was done so many times now...

You are right. If he goes they will think it is a conspiracy and there will be multiple acts of domestic terrorism.

However, if he stays, they will STILL find conspiracies, and they will fight those conspiracies with force ("let's get the national guard to knock on doors of immigrants!&quot and they will have the power of the presidency behind them.

Better for the country if he goes, even though there is danger there too.

... as domestic abuse, bar fights, and heart attacks.

Being a Trump believer is a sad, cruel waste if American potential.

Okay the alt-righters will keep on raging. All the rest will fall in love with Pence and fall in line, and everything that goes wrong will be blamed on Trump (and Obama, of course) That is what they do.

Whatever happens, it will be the fault of the liberals, or the media, or Hillary, or Obama, or some other Democrat.

Otherwise, they're in it until the bitter end. CIA, NSA, and 15 other IC agencies have no merit in their minds. It's tRump and them against the world. Their heals are dug in.

This has severed several family relationships as well as few almost friends. When Trump is removed my line steps up to Trump supporters are also traitors.

The Republicans may ask him to resign in order to save their own butts. He is going to take down the entire GOP.

They have the White House, the Senate and the House. They hold the trump card for the Supreme Court.

But still, they can't keep their eyes on the prize. They can't stop couching every move on their disdain for the liberals.

This happens every time.

They certainly are experts at pissing and moaning and groaning and complaining and accusing.

Governance? Way out of their league.

The constant, slow drip will wear most Trumpistas down and finally convince them he is criminal.

A RW twit at work even admitted this week there is smoke.

I'd say by May or June in the slow drip scenario, most will have had their fill of him.

In this country. His supporters are too brainwashed and uhinged to accept chump is a traitor who sold his country out to Russia. I see some of the crazies doing what the guy did recently in Kansas to the two Indian men. I don't see a happy ending for this country. And we will be in a constitutional crisis.

I hope I am wrong but there is a lot of hate, anger and evil swirling out the red states and they won't accept the eventual outcome.
