Jesus H Christ, Wolf Blitzer's cadence could drive anyone crazy.
I was listening to that 10 minutes of horror heard today on CNN and realized that it could've been only seven minutes and 25 seconds if Wolf Blitzer did not repeat clause after clause after clause in the most insipid manner imaginable. He is a disgrace to broadcasting, he is despicable as a reporter, and he is incompetent as a narrator. CNN needs to reinvent itself as a true news network and cease and desist this Fox-like broadcasting of propaganda, half truths, and outright lies.
Someone should take the entire staff of CNN into a room and show them YouTube videos of events which occurred, broadcast on national television, and reported by the likes of Walter Cronkite, Eric Sevareid, Charles Collingwood, Peter Jennings, and the like. Although each of these reporters held a personal bias towards certain entities the reportage each provided was clear, concise, and limited to the absolute truth and facts which they knew to be extant upon their statements. If, and this did not occur frequently, they speculated as to facts of which they were uncertain, which had not been verified, they would provide clear disclaimers a priori, and then, after stating the speculation, they would again state that what they had just said was pure speculation and neither verified nor confirmed.
Reporters of Wolf Blitzer's ilk are today so concerned about being the first to report and to be able to report the meme which the powers that be have proscribed that they are careless and sure their duties as professional. As a great man once said, it is a disgrace to the human race.
