Because Republicans themselves are either compromised by Russia or too corrupt and evil to stop it.

Republicans are trying to bury the story and make it a non-issue, including the Chairmen of the two Intel committees investigating it.

is the name of the game here! Too many people loathe that slimy, orange-hued fuck bucket, and they'll let the shit just slosh out regularly until Pussy Grabber drowns in it. And the press? They are out for some barbecued orange-bristled Pussy-Grabber. They hate him too. Hell, everybody does.

that republicans can't ignore it. With 2018 staring Congress in the face, republicans will have to act against Trump to save their own hides.

Why do you think Donald is still going off on "millions of illegal voters?" Expect 50 state voter ID sometime mid to late next year.

they have to do something. They will use the next 2 years to dismantle the government, then if they think the voter suppression laws won't be enough they'll impeach him and come off as heroes.

I think if investigative reporters and the intelligence community keep working, someone else will be discovered to be guilty. That person will be prosecuted and it will lead to the fall of the entire house of cards.

Journalists will be thrilled to publish what they find. The intelligence community has no love for Trump. They will leak whatever isn't being duly investigated by officialdom.

investigation for treason or something. Nailing Trump would still leave a long line of white wing replacements, maybe worse than Trump and his evil entourage.
